| Description: | It’s Magic are organising the return of the locally renowned annual concert weekend at Victoria Park, Haywards Heath. Dubbed as the new forces sweetheart, international star mezzo-soprano, Katherine Jenkins is performing on Saturday 5 July, for what promises to be a magical summer’s evening of international quality. Katherine will be accompanied by the fabulous Sussex Symphony Orchestra conducted by the charismatic conductor Mark Andrew James and will be accompanied by four incredibly talented handsome young men, ‘Blake’. Bringing a fresh, innovative sound to bridge the gap between classical and pop music Blake will make the perfect combination with the flawless Katherine, who is not only glamorous, but also very down to earth, and is light years away from the stereotypical opera singer. Blake have recorded their first, self-titled album, cleverly using striking harmonies around completely re-arranged classical, opera and pop tunes. Katherine said of the Haywards Heath venue “I absolutely love singing outdoors, it’s lovely to see people enjoying the music in a relaxed, happy atmosphere” The evening will include the prodigious international violinist and prize winner of 15 international competitions Diana Galvydyte who will be visiting from Lithuania. Tim French from It’s Magic said ‘It’s an outstanding achievement for Haywards Heath to have secured Katherine, Blake and Diana alongside Sussex’s favourite Orchestra, for such a truly memorable and unique experience in Haywards Heath.’ Don’t miss this dynamic evening which will close with a crackling and streaming fireworks finale. Join the fun, for a magical summers evening in the presence of ascending magic stars. The show starts at 6.00pm when supporting acts will take the stage. This is an open air event.
