| Description: | It’s Magic organizers are gearing up for another street music festival held on The Broadway Haywards Heath, on August Bank Holiday Sunday 29th August. Chris Bailey and his co-host Anna from Bright FM’s breakfast show will be introducing the acts. This year’s line-up is already boasting a wealth of exciting acts. There will be two stages at each end of the road, with 14 performances from a cross-genre schedule including Jazz, Rock, Opera, Pop, & Brass - music for all, played back to back from 11am until 10pm. To create the magical summer street party atmosphere the Broadway area is closed to traffic with additional seating areas spilling out into the road from the cafes, bars and restaurants, transforming the area for residents to listen to a variety of music from outstanding musical talent with a strong emphasis on local talent. August Bank Holiday Sunday is going to be a wild and wonderful day offering something for everyone with an eclectic mix of cover bands, original bands and artists, acoustic solo performers, and much more. There will be street entertainers and face painting for our younger visitors. Speaking about last year’s event a Haywards Heath resident said ‘Sunday night in Haywards Heath was certainly a magic night. Making Waves on Broadway was brilliant. Everyone I know hasn't stopped talking about the event. There was music for all ages and tastes. Places to sit and watch. Space to dance. This was the event that the town has been waiting for, at a sensible price!!!! We need this kind of event on a regular basis.’ |
