| Description: | Local Brighton pianist, Johan de Cock, returns to the Brighton Fringe Festival with a solo piano recital of Baroque sonatas by Antonio Soler, the middle-period Sonata in C sharp minor (Hob.XVI:36) by Joseph Haydn, the two late Romantic Elegies (S.196/S.197) by Franz Liszt, a selection from 'Cançons i Danses' by the Catalan composer, Federico Mompou, and a new milonga-inspired commission by the American composer, R.A. Moulds. The concert will last about an hour, without an interval. |
