| Description: | The Faure Reqiem was written in 1845. In composing this Requiem Faure concentrated on the deliverance of happiness and has omitted some of the more sombre aspects of a Requiem. The Rutter Requiem is a more modern work, being composed in 1985. But like Faure, Rutter portrays an optomistic view in his work. |
