A gala concert featuring the a capella and accompanied voices of the Sussex Cantorum, Director Simon Austin, and featuring a cross section of the music that has made the group so popular on the Surrey/Sussex borders. As well as excepts from Handel's Messiah, works by Bruckner, Vaughan Williams, Holst and Josquin, there will be solo performances by Anna Wynne, harp, Chris Harris, organ, Jennifer Kirk and the World Premiere of The Third Millenium by Simon Austin with text by Nick Nye. Also featured are the Wealden Recorder Consort and strings. Please join us for this journey through Cantorum's history. |
