| Description: | The East Grinstead Concert Band will be performing at historic Bodium Castle as part of their celebrations of 90yrs of the National Trust at the Castle in a 1920s style party on the lawn. In 1926, following the death of The Rt Hon. Sir George Curzon, KG, GCSI, GCIE, 1st Marquess Curzon of Kedleston (a former Viceroy of India and Foreign Secretary) the National Trust took ownership of this wonderful 14thC moated castle - which he had bequeathed to the Nation. The Band will be playing at 1130am (for 45mins) and then again at 1.30pm (for 45mins). |
