| Description: | The East Sussex Bach Choir offers an evening of musical meditation for Lententide and Easter, centred on the Buxtehude's moving sequence of 7 cantatas, reflecting on the body of Jesus in his life and on the cross. The choir will be accompanied by a small ensemble from The Baroque Collective. The concert will begin with a short sequence of anthems and solo arias including anthems by Schutz, John IV of Portugal and Victoria and parts of Pergolesi's Stabat Mater. |
